Scileppi's at The Old Stone Church is a culinary gem nestled in Castle Rock, Colorado, offering a unique dining experience in a beautifully repurposed 1888 church. This Italian restaurant has quickly garnered rave reviews for its exceptional seafood and hearty Italian fare. Diners like Tyler R. have praised the stuffed shrimp, claiming it to be the best they’ve had since relocating from Baltimore, accompanied by a heartfelt appreciation for the restaurant's commitment to preserving history by revitalizing the old church instead of demolishing it.
The atmosphere is equally enchanting, as diners can enjoy their meals surrounded by stunning stained glass windows and even inside a converted confessional—a memorable touch that enhances the unique dining experience. Moreover, customers such as Jenne Acevedo have highlighted the restaurant’s excellent gluten-free options, making it inclusive for a variety of dietary preferences.
Service at Scileppi’s also stands out, with patrons like David L. lauding the professionalism and warmth exhibited by the staff. From families to seafood lovers, everyone leaves feeling well-catered to and eager to return. Whether you're indulging in a classic Italian dish or enjoying a casual slice from their pizzeria side, Scileppi's effortlessly combines delicious food with an ambiance steeped in history.

We went here about 3 weeks ago on our way back from doing the Georgetown Loop Railroad as we wanted to try something new for dinner. My grandfather and I both got the stuffed shrimp as we are both originally from Baltimore and we love seafood. Needless to say they were the best stuffed shrimp we have had since moving out here. I also love that they reused an old church instead of tearing it down as I hate seeing old buildings get demolished. I highly recommend Scileppi's at The Old Stone Chruch if you are looking for either great seafood or want to support a local restaurant in Castle Rock.

Had dinner at the bar with my daughter. Service and Food were Excellent. I travel quite a bit and eat out an Often. Gaven’s service is as good as it gets. His attitude and professionalism are great and appreciated.

What a neat place to eat! The restaurant has 2 sections, one in an old church built in 1888, complete with stained glass windows, and the other side in their modern pizzeria. Excellent food. Exceptional gluten free fettuccine! Limited (but delicious) gluten free options for all courses, since not everything can be safely made GF. Highly recommend.

Loved this place!! Had a quick lunch there yesterday and everything was delicious!! Exceeded expectations! Was pretty fun to be eating in an old church. You can even dine inside a converted confessional. Ha!

Stopped here on a whim on our way home from the Renaissance Fair in Larkspur. So glad we did - my partner just wanted slices and I really love an Italian entree, and this combo of Scileppi’s and Slice Works is genius. The food was fantastic (so glad they secretly have eggplant parm) and the service was incredible. Our waitress even made our daughter a warm cup of milk because we ran out of formula, which was so kind. I would absolutely come back!

We stopped in on a Saturday night without a reservation, and the bartender let us sit at the bar until the reserved party was due to arrive. We were not rushed and had a great time sitting at the bar. Gavin was funny and knew the menu inside out. He made some excellent recommendations (lobster ravioli and braised beef ravioli). My husband and I loved our dinner and dessert. Great portions and outstanding service. Gavin also makes a fantastic old-fashioned. We will be back with some friends in the near future, and we will make reservations next time!

The addition is finally done. New larger bar, good food, large portions, plenty of pizza options. Make reservations to get a seat in the right section.

Great place for pizza! If you’re into unique restaurants, this is definitely one for the books! It’s an old church repurposed into an Italian restaurant. The vibes were cozy and rustic, which was cool! My family and I went here and they were very child friendly and accommodating to young kiddos! Would definitely recommend
